”We just had Erik of Armor Wood Refinishing paint our kitchen cabinets. He did an absolutely fabulous job and we highly recommend him. We got estimates from several companies and he was the only one who did all the preparation and finishing steps we were looking for. We wanted the finish to look good and last, and some other companies either skipped steps or didn’t do as many coats. The cabinets came out beautiful. We also had Erik install crown molding on our plain builder grade oak cabinets. His mitered corners are meticulous and the detail adds so much style. He also suggested other trim pieces we never would have thought of, but they really finish the cabinets nicely. Additionally, we had him replace all the brassy hinges with invisible easy-close hardware, which really makes a big difference. His attention to detail and commitment to quality work is evident in every detail. We appreciated that he masked everything so carefully and also used special fans to vent dust outside. He took all the doors and drawers to his own facility to spray. (Other companies expected us to find space in our house for them to lay out 60 doors and drawers for spraying!) He used low-VOC paint, so fumes were almost non-existent. Every night before leaving, he cleaned up what he could and stored his materials and equipment neatly out of the way. On top of everything else, he was a delight to work with, always respectful and patient in answering our questions. We are very happy with our “new” kitchen and would hire him again in a heartbeat.
